Tablamigo helps people who travel alone find company nearby, for tonight or for the next city, without swiping and without it turning into a dating app.
What is Tablamigo? Tablamigo is an app for solo travelers and digital nomads to meet people nearby. Travelers post plans such as dinner, drinks, day trips or coworking on a map, and others nearby join with one tap and talk in the plan's group chat. It launched on 29 September 2026, runs on Android and in any web browser (including iPhone), is free to use with an optional Plus subscription, and is made by Hookstep in Mumbai, India.

How Tablamigo works
- Open the map. You see plans that travelers near you have posted, soonest first, with who's going and roughly how far away it is.
- Join, or post your own. Joining puts you in the plan's group chat. Posting takes a minute: pick what, where and when, and people nearby can join.
- Agree the details. Use the chat, run a poll to pick a time, and share your live location for 15 minutes, an hour or 8 hours if it helps people find you.
- Plan ahead. Add a trip to see who'll be in the same city on your dates, and join that city's chat before you land.
There's also a list of travelers nearby with an age filter, direct messages, AI plan ideas for your city, and women-only plans. The full feature list is in the fact sheet.
What we care about
- Plans first, profiles second. You decide what to join based on what's happening, not on photos.
- Not a dating app. Plans are for food, drinks, sightseeing, sport and coworking, and turning a plan into something else can be reported.
- Privacy by default. Nobody sees where you are. Other travelers see a distance rounded to the nearest 0.5 km, and plans show only the meeting place the host chose.
- Women-only plans. Women can host plans that only other women can see and join.
- Moderation you can see. Group and city chat messages are checked by AI moderation before they post, you can report with a choice of six reasons or block in one tap, and every report goes to our team. More on our safety page.
What Tablamigo isn't
- It isn't a tour company. We don't organise, host or vet meetups; travelers post and join plans themselves.
- It doesn't book travel, hostels or tickets.
- It isn't big yet. Tablamigo is new, and we don't publish user numbers, ratings or awards. In many cities you'll be posting the first plan, and we'd rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
Who makes Tablamigo
Tablamigo is built by Hookstep, a small software company in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, India. Hookstep also makes Hookpost, an open-source social media scheduler, and runs Hookstep, which helps companies hire tech talent. Questions, feedback, bugs and press: support@hookstep.in.

Yes. Joining plans, posting 2 plans a day, group chats, direct messages and the list of travelers nearby are free. Tablamigo Plus is optional and adds more plans a day, everyone overlapping your trips, city chats weeks ahead and more. In the web app it costs ₹499 a month, ₹3,999 a year or ₹299 for a one-time 14-day Trip Pass.
Is Tablamigo on iPhone?
There's no iPhone app yet. On iPhone, open the Tablamigo web app in Safari and add it to your Home Screen to get notifications.
Is Tablamigo a dating app?
No. Tablamigo is for finding company for real activities like food, drinks, sightseeing, sport and coworking. Plans are usually groups.
How many people use Tablamigo?
Tablamigo launched on 29 September 2026 and we don't publish user numbers. It's busiest where solo travelers already gather, and if there's nothing near you yet, posting a plan is the quickest way to meet someone.
